Foreo Luna, Mia Clarisonic and Clinique Sonic System, which is better?

If you are new to the sonic cleansing technology, you may wonder: how well does it work compared to washing with your hands?  Clinical studies[1] done by dermatologists did prove that sonic cleansing brush is significantly more effective in removing makeup and sunscreen than manual cleansing; sonic brush also improves skin brightness, radiance and luminosity. Therefore, you may want to give sonic cleansing devices a try.

Here we listed several features you may want to consider before investing in a sonic cleansing device.

1. Device effectiveness:
All three products are among the top rated sonic facial cleansing devices, however there are slight differences among major website’s ratings. For example, as of July 2018:

3. Hygienic of the brush heads:
No matter how effective the device maybe, without proper cleaning of the brush head, it could cause skin infections or blemishes. Both Clinique and Clarisonic recommend their customers to change the brush head every 3 months. Foreo claims its silicon brush heads are 35 times more resilient to bacteria growth than nylon brush heads. Foreo Luna’s brush head design also makes it easier to clean than nylon brush heads. Keeping the brush head dry and clean between uses is still recommended for all three products.

4. Waterproof so you can use in the shower or bath:
Yes! According to the official websites, all three products are waterproof.
4.
      5. Battery life and re-charge frequency:
If you are a traveller, this may be important for you. According to the official websites:
